Buck focuses on rural broadband with local leader & renowned tech expert

Peter hosted renowned technology expert, Sascha Meinrath, the Palmer Chair in Telecommunications at Penn State and director of X-Lab, and Richard Fultz, Decatur Township Supervisor, to discuss broadband accessibility and affordability here in Central PA. With current social distancing measures in place, the ability to be connected virtually is more important than ever for work, school, and our social lives. What are the unique issues families in rural PA face due to the lack of widely available high-speed broadband internet? What is being done to increase access? Are there efforts to expedite these plans in light of the coronavirus pandemic? Watch the recording on YouTube of their Zoom townhall for a conversation about how we address the real issues that affect our community.
