Hello Friends and Supporters, We are closing in on victory in two weeks. These upcoming days are packed. Every day and every evening from now ‘til the election, I’ll be talking to voters on the phone, over Zoom, or in person. Yesterday, I delivered signs, chatted with folks at the Boalsburg Farmers Market, and called people to raise more money for the closing days. This evening, the Nittany Valley Environmental Coalition and friends will host a forum on the environment. Scott Conklin, Ian Kidd, Steve Yetsko, and U.S. Congressional candidate Lee Griffin will be there. Thursday, I’ll take part in a Reimagine Appalachia event and work the phones to make sure we are showing up. Sunday, join us on the Buck Truck Tour. We’ll be showing up in Lemont, Pine Grove Mills, Reedsville area, Millheim, and Bellefonte. We have a sweet pick-up, some amps, our campaign band The Buck Stops Here, and Representative Malcolm Kenyatta (HD 181, North Philadelphia). In case you missed it, Rep. Kenyatta made waves a couple of weeks ago by blowing up HR 1032 on The Rachel Maddow Show. Meet us at the SPRING CREEK PARK AT 10:45 AM to kick off the tour! Sunday night, we have a fundraiser with State College Borough Council member Deanna Behring, 2018 State Senate candidate Ezra Nanes, Rep. Scott Conklin (HD 77) and Malcolm Kenyatta and climate scientist Michael Mann! Join us at 6 pm to give my campaign a final gust of wind so that we sail high and far and land the victory on November 3rd.
Next Wednesday, would you like to join me for dinner at Chef Tony Sapia’s house? Tony, the owner of Gemelli Bakery, is one of the region’s finest chefs. We are asking for a donation of $100 to join me for a delicious, safe, socially distanced meal to advance the cause. Would you like to join us? Register for a time here. (Space is very limited due to social distancing ordinances) Finally, we are unleashing our full media campaign. We have ads on six radio stations including Froggy, ESPN, The Bus, and WRSC. Yes, people will even hear me on Rush Limbaugh. (If we really want to drain the swamp, then let’s really drain the swamp). We’ve worked with an incredible film production company, Dark Mind. Video ads are going to be all over social media and digital TV. And look out for the mailers (there are at least more coming!) NEWS In case you missed it, citizens in Centre County ran an ad calling on Sen. Corman and Rep. Benninghoff to not tamper with the election. Many of you are on this list. Thank you! Corman and Benninghoff wrote a reply. So did I. The CDT will print it on Monday. Look for it! Questions about voting? Go to www.BuckForPA.com/vote. Want to volunteer in these last few days?
